At the 2007 ASA Board of Directors Spring Meeting, the ASA Board voted to hold a referendum to update the ASA's Bylaws to better reflect current realities and to ensure fulfillment of the Internal Revenue Service Governance Requirements for Non-Profit Organizations.  The full document and associated articles of the bylaws outlining the process as well as a list of frequently asked questions are available by clicking on the links below.  On May 8, 2007 referendum ballots were mailed to all ASA members who renewed their membership on or before April 22, 2007.  Please watch for your orange colored envelope marked "Response Requested" and return your ballot to the ASA Secretariat on or before June 29, 2007.  Ballots received after June 29, 2007 will not be counted.
