Africa residents who experience difficulty in paying their pre-registration fees online may request to pay pre-registration onsite. Payment for membership dues cannot be made onsite at the Annual Meeting and must be paid in order to receive member benefits including the discounted member pre-registration rate. Member benefits will not be active until membership payment has been received and processed. The pre-registration rate will be based upon the membership status at the time of the request.

I understand that membership dues may not be paid onsite and that I must be a paid member to be eligible for the member pre-registration rate or I may pay the non-member pre-registration rate. Receipt of the email to members@africanstudies.org shall serve as my authorized signature. Individuals submitting a proposal should submit their request on or before March 24, 2010 to ensure access to the online Call for Proposal system prior to the deadline. All requests will be reviewed and processed. Upon approval, individuals will receive a confirmation email and will be able to participate in the online Call for Proposal process. Individuals who plan to attend the Annual Meeting and are not submitting a proposal should submit their request on or before September 30, 2010. Pre-Registration Member Rate Pre-Registration Non-Member Rate Please Note: All requests to pay pre-registration onsite from Africa residents are automatically granted upon receipt of the required information listed above, sent via email with “Africa Resident Registration” in the subject line to members@africanstudies.org. Other prospective participants who do not reside in the US may contact the Secretariat at members@africanstudies.org if they are unable to submit funds from overseas because of difficulties in obtaining foreign currency. | |
