You can change your password at any time by using the Change Password function.
Q: How do I create a new user account on the myASA system if I have never had an account or if I don’t remember my primary email address in the original ASA Online system? 1) Go to www.africanstudies.org, click on the “Login to myASA” link in the upper right-hand corner. 2) Select the option for “New to the ASA?” and follow the prompts to create a new account.

The system will ask you to confirm your email and will send you an email with instructions for changing your password.

Q: How do I submit a proposal for the 2009 CFP? 1) You must register for the 2009 Annual Meeting using the instructions above in order to submit a proposal. 2) Once you have registered for the 2009 Annual Meeting, visit the Call for Proposals page to access the ASA Online Proposal Submission System.
Q: How can I view my payment history and print copies of receipts for my payments to ASA? 1) Go to the ASA Online Store and click on the “Payment History” link at the top of the page to view your recent transactions, pay open orders, and print receipts for any transactions in the last 60 days. 2) If you need a receipt for a transaction more than 60 days old, please email support@africanstudies.org and a receipt will be generated and sent to your email within 3-5 business days.
