JOB REGISTRY
The ASA sponsors a Job Registry in conjunction
with the Annual Meeting.
Individual ASA members seeking employment may register, as may institutions
seeking candidates for positions.

The Candidate Placement
form will be filed according to the candidate's discipline and made available
to prospective institutions for the use of persons representing institutions
seeking African specialists. Candidate
Placement Forms will be made available at the ASA Exhibit Booth, which will
be located in the Exhibit Hall. Please
return this form no later than October 31, 2006 to the African Studies

Institutions seeking
African specialists are invited to submit this form. The form will be filed by
discipline and made available to prospective candidates at the ASA Exhibit
Booth, which will be located in the Exhibit Hall. Institutions participating
in the placement service need not be members of the Association, but they
must subscribe to equal opportunity principles. Only position announcements
requiring expertise in African studies will be accepted. Please return this
form no later than October 31, 2006, to the African Studies Association,
